About Uptown Songs

Uptown Songs NYC is a vibrant music community, serving students of all ages and abilities.  Located in Washington Heights, Uptown Songs NYC offers a diverse range of courses in-person and online.

 

From private and small-group instruction to ensemble music classes, our curriculum explores a wide variety of genres and styles, and is designed to meet the diverse needs of individual students.  

 

Whether you are exploring music for the first time, writing and producing original beats, or preparing for pre-professional and professional auditions, you are welcome here. 

 

We believe that music has the unique power to bring people together and strengthen communities.

Students enrolled in our programs will collaborate with expert teaching artists and work alongside music industry professionals that will support their musical growth and development.  Uptown Songs NYC cultivates student creativity and critical thinking skills, builds lasting relationships, and empowers people to meaningfully express themselves through music.
